We spend so much time planning, analyzing, making to-do lists, filling out diaries, electronic documents, or sophisticated task record systems. So much so that when it comes to us and our planning we kind of give up. And is it really ever about us?

You may find it useful, or at least interesting, for those of you who are already on the path to self-knowledge, to try at least once to give yourself enough value to plan for yourself. Of course it may have to do with the job, the career, the free time, the relationship or the education of the children, but plan for yourself, for what you really want.

What do you say? Will you give it a try?

An interesting way to consciously lay out on paper the plans for the new year can be for those who are passionate about symbols and Tarot the use of the 22 major arcana in the favorite deck according to the protocol presented below. For those familiar with the method of Referential Birth Chart, The Wheather House can be a good start in clarifying the objectives and action plan for next year.

Returning to tarot, this impressive catalog of symbols, I invite you to go through the steps below and make your plan to achieve the proposed goals. Your goals, ok?!

If you have 22 Major Arcana at hand from your favorite tarot deck, I invite you to find a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed for the next 15-20 minutes. Relax and set your intention to set your goals and action plan for next year, say thank you to the year that just passed for the gifts you received. Do not hesitate to write and name what this year has brought you and do not forget the perspective of things that have caused you discomfort but which, perhaps, have helped you to advance in your path of personal development.

Then shuffle the 22 arcana, cut and arrange the cards in the order shown in the image below. Turn them over one by one and reflect on the question posed by the position in which the card is found, write down what conclusions you have on paper. It is not necessary to have a lot of knowledge about the symbolism of the Tarot, they can be useful. Let yourself be guided by image and intuition and respond as spontaneously as possible.

Position 1 – What proposal does the arcana in this position have for me? What is proposed to me next year?

Position 2 – What do I want (unconsciously) at this moment?

Position 3 – What is my soul looking for? What am I missing?

Position 4 – What can I do to fulfill my goals as closely as possible to my desires, expectations, and pursuits?

Position 5 – What will I have to learn / what lessons will emerge from my action to achieve my goals?

Position 6 – What do others expect from me next year and / or what do I want to show them next year?

Position 7 – What skills / allies do I need to develop in the next year to achieve my goals?

Position 8 – What challenges will I have to overcome in order to achieve my goals?

Good luck planning.
